I tried to decapsulate the packet until the mac layer and setting the source but can't seem to understand how it works. I'm only using the INET framework as a connector between OMNeT++ and the real host, by sending UDP broadcast packets from the hosts to the network to signal a start of transmission, which i made with a custom module and a custom message type. I'm writing an emulation of a smart switch inside a network of distributed ML, where there are external hosts(Docker containers) that are doing the learning and communicating between them. ![]()
